20 minutes intermediate 2 connectors for Marketers and solo brand owners who plan in Notion and ship in Linear

What you'll need

Do this, in order

  1. 1

    Connect Notion and Linear

Install both MCP servers with your API keys.

You'll get: Claude confirms both servers are connected and lists the workspaces it can access.

  2. 2

    Pull your content calendar

Read my Notion 'Content Calendar' database and show me what's due this week.

You'll get: A table of upcoming items with title, channel, owner, and due date.

  3. 3

    Draft content

Write a LinkedIn post about our new feature based on the brief in Notion 'Blog Ideas' > 'AI Integration Launch'.

You'll get: A first-draft post in your voice, with hook, body, and CTA. You edit in chat.

  4. 4

    Create Linear tasks

Create a Linear task to publish this LinkedIn post next Tuesday, assign to the marketing team.

You'll get: Claude returns a Linear issue URL and the task is visible on the team's board.

You're done when

Content creation and task management in one conversation — no tab switching required.

Why this workflow exists

Most marketing teams already know what to write. The bottleneck is the connective tissue — pulling the brief out of Notion, drafting in a doc, copying into Linear, assigning. Notion + Linear MCP turns that into a single chat thread.
